Frank Ocean made his TV debut on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” last night, and delivered a beautiful performance of “Bad Religion“. The track which chronicles his unrequited love for another man, is from his debut studio album ‘Channel ORANGE’, which was released a week early on iTunes. The singer released it at 12am just after this performance on Fallon.
Although Ocean was backed by eight string musicians and “Late Night’s” house band, the Roots, there was a stripped-down, emotionally raw quality to his performance. It was riveting.
