Katy Perry unveils ‘Part of Me’ 3D Movie Poster

Katy Perry has unveiled the official poster for her upcoming  3D documentary-concert film, Katy Perry: Part of Me. The poster was  unveiled her twitter account with the following message: ….from a hairbrush to a headliner…get ready, JULY 5TH!

The film tells the story of the trajectory beginning of her career as gospel-singer Katy Hudson until the present day as pop-singer global superstarKaty Perry, it still bears testimony from Katy about her childhood, her struggle with religion, talks about Teenage Dream era, backstage of last world tour and tries to take time to resolve personal problems, including divorce with British comedian Russell Brand. The interim scenes documentary of the last world tour, California Dreams Tour, that was recorded on November 23, 2011 at Staples Center, Los Angeles.

According to Perry in a interview with Teen Vogue, Perry said that the reason she wanted to create the movie was that she was inspired by the film Madonna: Truth or Dare (1991). She said “I wanted to do that too, to capture a snapshot of who I am now so that I can remind myself what I’ve lost if I ever do become totally jaded.”

Kelly Clarkson to Premiere ‘Dark Side’ At Billboard Awards

Katy Perry won’t be the only one premiering a new song at Sunday night’s Billboard Music Awards. Kelly Clarkson will also premiere her ‘Dark Side‘ single during a mashup performance of her current  single, “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)”. The mid-tempo synthpop song will serve as the third official single from Clarkson’s fifth studio album, Stronger. “Dark Side“  will be officially sent to to radio airplay  in the United States on June 4, 2012.

“We’ve already shot a video and I’ll be doing it on ‘Dancing With the Stars,’” Clarkson told Billboard. “Dark Side” will be sent to radio on Monday and her label, RCA, will go for adds on June 4. (Billboard)

Teen Choice Awards 2012 Nominations Released

The first wave of the “2012 Teen Choice” nominees has been released,with “The Vampire Diaries” leading the Television Categories, and Justin Bieber leads the Top Artist Categories.

TEEN CHOICE 2012 will once again celebrate the hottest teen icons in television, music, film, sports, fashion, comedy and the web in the choicest, star-studded two-hour event airing live Sunday, July 22 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. “The Vampire Diaries” leads the TEEN CHOICE 2012 nominees with six nominations, while AMERICAN IDOL and Justin Bieber each garnered five nominations. In addition, new categories added this year include Choice Book and Choice Electronic Dance Music (EDM) Artist.

Starting today, fans ages 13-19 can vote once each day per category for their favorite TEEN CHOICE 2012 nominees at www.teenchoiceawards.com. Host(s), performers, presenters and additional nominees will be announced soon.

Will Smith Back Slaps Ukrainian Reporter (VIDEO)

Will Smith just slapped a Ukrainian reporter across the face at the Moscow premiere of “Men in Black 3″. And it was all caught on tape.

The Ukrainian reporter tries to kiss Will on the lips on the red carpet and the actor angrily pushes him away and then backhands him across the face.

You can clearly see that Will is incredibly p****d that the guy showed overt affection toward him.

After Will slaps the guy, Will says, “He’s lucky I didn’t sucker punch him.”

We’re told the dude who kissed Will is a television reporter who often kisses celebrities — it’s his schtick.

For the record, Will just came out in support of gay marriage.

A source on scene tells TMZ, the reporter’s mouth brushed up against Will’s and that’s why the actor reacted so violently. Despite the incident, Will stayed positive … and happily continued to sign autographs for fans and do red carpet interviews. (TMZ)

Joan Rivers Makes Tasteless Whitney Houston Joke In New Book

Joan Rivers is best known for her brash manner and ability to make outrageous, controversial and sometimes cruel jokes about celebrities. As a matter of fact, that is what landed the comedian her current  position as co-host of E! network’s show “Fashion Police“. However her new book, “I Hate Everyone…Starting With Me,” may have finally gone way too far. The comedian takes a cruel swing at the late Whitney Houston in the book, by writing:

“I hate Houston. It’s crawling with bugs. Oh, wait, that’s Whitney Houston; I’m sorry, my bad. (Can I just mention that Whitney looked fabulous at the Grammys? She was in mahogany from head to toe.)” (Source)

Although this might be tasteless, unfortunately this is what Joan is known for so I can’t be upset with her. I would be lying if I said I didn’t chuckle when I read the joke. I personally would not say something that insensitive, but then again I’m not a comedian especially a controversial one at that. At the end of the day I think Joan knew exactly what she was doing.  Having a controversial book certainly creates publicity which makes for good book sales. So what do you think? Was the joke too harsh or just too soon?

Raven Symone Reply To Lesbian Story: “My Sexual Orientation is Mine”

Raven Symone made headlines this morning when a story published by the ‘National Enquirer‘ alleged that the actress is a Lesbian and her fam­ily is furious.

FORMER “Cosby Show” cutie RAVEN-SYMONE’s fam­ily is furious that she’s fallen in love with another woman and has moved the sexy model into her home, say sources.

Lesbian rumors have hounded the talented 26-year-old actress for years, and as recently as 2008 she denied them, stating: “It’s false that I’m dating a girl right now.”

But sources close to Raven say she’s gay and has shacked up with AzMarie Livingston, the androgynous beauty recently seen on “America’s Next Top Model.” The two are living together in Raven’s luxury $11,000-a-month New York City condo.

“She’s at a point now where she doesn’t care what her family thinks, and she’s in love with AzMarie. She’s a lesbian and wants to live that way.

“She feels her parents are still trying to treat her like she’s a kid, and she’s told them she’s going to do what she wants.”

And that includes Raven maintaining her own love-nest apartment with her 24-year-old girlfriend, say insiders.

“Raven has hidden being gay for a long time now,” said the source. “But about a year ago, she was introduced by a friend to AzMarie, who is absolutely gorgeous.

“The two began see­ing each other, and a few months ago, Raven finally got the nerve to ask her to move into her lavish Manhattan condo.

“When her family found out, they blew their stack and it’s created a gay scandal for Raven.

“She told her parents she loves them, but her home – especially her bedroom – is nobody’s business, and she was not going to back down, so they needed to accept it, period.” (NE)

Raven Symone took to her twitter and replied to the story. The 26 year old did not admit or deny being a lesbian or any feuds with her family. However She did make it clear that her personal life and sexual orientation is hers and she is not for a public display of her personal life. Read the tweets below:


I completely agree with Raven Symone. As a openly gay individual, I honestly do not care whether she is a lesbian or not, and I don’t think she owes anyone an explanation. She has always kept her personal life out of the media and I don’t think she should change that now. What are your thoughts?
