Rihanna registers her 22nd top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, as her dance-infused “Where Have You Been” jumps 11-9.

As she ups her total to 22, Rihanna moves closer to the record for most Hot 100 top 10s among women in the chart’s almost 54-year history. Sheryl Crow Reveals She Has A Brain Tumor

Country singer Shery Crow, yesterday revealed  that she has a brain tumor, but doesn’t want us to worry. Crow recently had trouble remembering the lyrics to her  number one single ‘Soak Up The Sun’, which  caused some fans to grow concerned.

50-year-old Crow told the Las Vegas Review Journal, “I worried about my memory so much that I went and got an MRI. And I found out I have a brain tumor … but it’s benign, so I don’t have to worry about it.”

You’ll recall — Sheryl choked on stage last month in Florida, forgetting the lyrics to one of her most famous songs. She said, “I’m 50 what can I say! My brain has gone to s**t!” (TMZ)

It is such a sigh of relief to learn that the tumor is not benign.

Janet Jackson Producing Documentary About Transgender People

The Advocate.com is reporting that superstar entertainer Janet Jackson is set to executive-produce a documentary that will help “stop the hate and find understanding” toward transgender people.

The documentary is titled Truth and described as “a journey through the lives of trans- and nongendered people around the world and their epic struggle for equality.” The film will be directed by Robert Jason and is expected to begin production this summer.

“All people are very important to me,” Jackson says in a statement released to the media. “I’ve been fortunate to make friends and learn about very different lives. Truth is our small chance to ask that you try and understand someone who lives their life in a way that is a little bit different from yours, even though all of our hearts are the same. We want to stop the hate and find understanding.”

Jason is obviously ecstatic to have such a high-profile collaborator on the project. ”Janet Jackson will take us on a visually innovative, cerebral journey through the turbulent lives of transgendered people of all ages around the world and their epic struggle for equality,” he says. “This film will highlight landmark mainstream stories and provide a glimpse at others that will change the gender landscape of the world forever. Just as it is hard to believe that there ever was a time when different components of society were required to use separate drinking fountains, it is as incredible that one’s gender expression remains just such a target for discrimination.” (Advocate)

Janet Jackson has always been a advocate of the LGBT community, but she continues to surprise me with the amount of effort she puts forward. I commend her for this because in like most celebrity, she doesn’t just say she support LGBT, she also walks the walk. How do you feel about Janet’s upcoming documentary?

Chris Brown Vs. Brian McKnight Twitter Beef Gets Nasty

A new celebrity twitter battle is brewing and it involves r&b singers Chris Brown  and Brian McKnight. It seems like Chris Brown is involved in some twitter drama every week, but this time it might be justified and here is why. While ranting about radio station lack of support for his music, Brian McKnight tweeted the follow:

“Since everyone’s so opinionated, I’m taking suggestions on what I should do next: I’m thinking, rent a lambo and beat the sh*t outta my girl,” he wrote, a clear reference to Brown’s 2009 assault of his then girlfriend, Rihanna.

Well Chris Brown got wind of McKnight’s shot and it didn’t go over well. Brown took to twitter and shot back, tweeting:

“I see how this works now … When peoples’ careers get to the ‘nobody cares’ stage, they use my name for publicity! I can’t keep helping these old n*****. It’s a miracle the way I’m bringing the dead alive!”

“I would’ve gladly wrote you something that would make u look less irrelevant! If you need help, just ask!”

LMFAO! I can’t help it, that had to be the best comeback ever. McKnight have been seeking attention lately and even with his provocative ”P*ssy” songs people still aren’t paying him dust. I guess taking on Brown is his final desperate attempt to get some mention and it worked, but still won’t save his career. So who do you think was wrong here?
