Two worlds collide as Catherine Duchess of Cambridge was seen wearing a red Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2011 frock that Kim Kardashian had also worn. The Duchess wore her frock to sail down the Thames river with the Queen for the Diamond Jubilee. While reality royal Kim Kardashian had also worn the McQueen frock, albeit a no-sleeved and shorter version, out grocery shopping in August 2011. Its so funny that a fancy dress Catherine wears to Britain’s biggest jubilee is one Kim just wears with snakeprint stilettos while running errands.
Take a look at the lovely ladies below and tell us: Who wore it better?
The gloomy weather didn’t dampen the spirits of the Great British public who gathered along the River Thames this afternoon for the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant.
Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge were quite the handsome couple as they prepared to board the royal barge ‘Spirit of Chartwell’.
Catherine was resplendent wearing a fire engine red Alexander McQueen dress.
The dress was originally presented sleeveless as part of the brands Pre-Fall 2011 collection which Tulisa Contostavlos wore to the X Factor Liverpool auditions last year.
For this occasion Catherine’s long-sleeve McQueen dress, which is also longer in length, was designed especially by Sarah Burton.
Catherine styled her look with a red Sylvia Fletcher hat from James Lock & Co, a maritime-themed brooch featuring gold dolphins, nude LK Bennett pumps, a red clutch and she’s also carrying a tartan scarf.
It seems like the Catherine has a thing for pleats at the moment, as her last two looks have had a pleated skirt.
By all accounts, Cheryl Cole gave an energetic performance on the UK version of ‘The Voice’ this weekend.
Fresh from her stint in Cannes and her red-carpet appearance for ‘What To Expect When You’re Expecting’, the singer was back to her day job performing her newest single, ‘Call My Name’.
Her colourful ensemble was a head-to-toe creation by Roberto Cavalli.
The look consisted of a hot-pink floral-print line vest with gold shoulder details. This was paired with a Cavalli trademark: a leopard-print crop top.
Her floral-print pleated pants are inspired from the Spring 2012 collection with the look complete with a pair of leopard-print booties.
Gold cuffs on both wrists, hot-pink nails and simple ponytail completed her look.
As a performance piece it works, but there is a lot going on.
Seen On: RCFA
It looks like it has been raining in Cannes, but that didn’t stop this ray of sunshine poking out at the Martinez Hotel this morning.
Cassie donned a very exotic look wearing a Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2012 jumpsuit.
Her mandarin-and-violet strapless jumpsuit with a self-tie waist and cropped pants was styled with complementary violet-frame shades.
As if by coincidence she is wearing the same white Givenchy heels we saw Diane Kruger wear last night.
A Balenciaga bag and a gold necklace completed her look.
When is she going to accept that that hairstyle is a) so 2009 and b) not suited to her baby face?
