Late last week Rita Ora performed at an event for Cartier in New York, an event which was also attended by her mentor Beyonce. Don’t ask me where this mentor thing came from, but I think it’s something she mention in the past. The new Roc Nation artist took on the task of performing a cover of Destiny’s Child “Say My Name” single, which wasn’t bad at all. Considering she is constantly being compare to Roc Nation’s  First Lady Rihanna, it appears she might be taking another approach. Remember when  Rihanna  start it was rumored she was getting in between Jay-Z and Beyonce and that her Bey never really got along. Now here comes Rita who is BFF with Bey and see Bey as her mentor, I’m just saying. I think the girl is talented but for some reason I just have’nt connected with her as yet. Maybe it’s because I can’t get pass her image, which screams Rihanna, and my stan card isn’t big enough for two Rihannas. Anyways checkout the video below..
