Rihanna teased fans with the unveil of a video still from her soon to be release “Where Have You Been” music video. The shot is certainly hot but at the end of the day it is just a millisecond of an almost four minutes video. So with that said, I won’t go jumping too far with what to expect from the video. If history have taught me one thing is that Rihanna tends to throw us off with black and white images even when the videos are actually colorful.
“Where Have You Been” is a song by Barbadian recording artist Rihanna, from her sixth studio album Talk That Talk (2011). It was written by Ester Dean, Henry Walter, Geoff Mack, Lukasz Gottwald and Calvin Harris. The production of the song was helmed by Gottwald under his stage name Dr. Luke together with Harris and Cirkut. It will be released as the fifth US single and the third international single of the album on May 8, 2012.
Rihanna began shooting the songs music video on March 8, 2012 in Los Angeles, California. Revealing the news, she tweeted “Video shoot goin MAJAH!!! Longest day everrrrr tho!!! #WHEREhaveUbeen #stillgoin [sic]” with a picture of herself topless with natural hair on the set of the music video. The video features choreography by Nadine “Hi-Hat” Ruffin, who has worked with Rihanna previously on her Grammy and BRIT Awards performances
