Grace Jones Is Back

80s legend Grace Jones performed live at the Royal Albert Hall on April 26, 2010 in London, England.

Grace Jones was one of the most unforgettable characters to emerge from New York City’s hedonistic Studio 54 disco scene during the late ’70s. She found success as a model, working in New York and Paris, before rising to public prominence as a singer.  Grace had about 5 or 6 costume changes that night alone. The queen of fashion still got it baby.

Grace Jones Rejects Lady Gaga

What does Rihanna and Lady Gaga have in common, besides being two of pop music top females of the decade? Well they have both been compared to fashion icon, singer, model, and actress Grace Jones. But only one of the two was brave enough to asked Ms. Jones to do a collaborate and that is Gaga. Here is what Jones had to say:

“Yes, she did (ask about a duet), but I said no. I’d just prefer to work with someone who is more original and someone who is not copying me, actually. Well, you know, I’ve seen some things she’s worn that I’ve worn, and that does kind of p**s me off.”
When asked if she would ever see Gaga in concert, Jones said, “I wouldn’t go to see her.”

What do you think about her response, too Diva?
