Keri Hilson Says "I Few Individuals Aren't Gonna LikeThis Album"

Ms Hilson was in the building to receive her get schooled award from 106 & Park . While talking about her award Roci asked about whats new on the Keri train and that opened up the can of worms about her thrid album.

“There’s some people in the world that aren’t gon’ like this album coming from me,” she warned. “As I was experiencing the world, there were things that I was also experiencing on a personal front, and in my music it’s coming out. There’s a specific few people who ain’t gon’ like to listen to this album. Very emotional, I’ll say that.”

She still undecided on whether to release another single off her current project. “You guys let me know whether you want to see another single off of No Boys Allowed,” she told the audience. “We’re still trying to figure out ‘All the Boys,’ ‘Buyou’… We’re trying to figure out if we want to release another single or move on to the third, but I’m always in the studio.” I say I want to here All The Boys. Its been a while since we had an emotional ballad from Ms Hilson.

Cee-Lo Interviews Keri Hilson On Fuse TV (Video)

Ms Keri Baby is once again promoting the album. I dont know who Keri Hilson’s manger is but he/or she needs an award. Cee-Lo is the interviewer ask Ms Keri so hard hitting questions. Keri also performed ‘All the Boys’ and ‘Pretty Girl Rock’. Watch the full interview which premiered on Fuse TV below.

On the provocative record “The Way You F*** Me”
You know what Cee-Lo, if I’m representing women in the realest way, I have to keep it real with my audience. Every woman has that side of them. I don’t do music to paint myself perfect, I don’t care. I’d much rather it be real than perfect. You don’t give that to everybody but on a certain night with the right person that’s what we want.
On the title “No Boys Allowed”
Real men do real things. I just feel like now that I’m out there, so to speak and I have these conversations with my girls I just feel like everything that was old school and honorable about men…chivalry, respect and all of that is out the window. But women, for the sake of being hugged at night, we tolerate bullsh*t and if I could’ve called it “No Bullsh*t Allowed” I would’ve done that because that’s what separates the boys from the men.
On not having a sophomore album jinx
I didn’t feel it until “Breaking Point.” It was a very ballsy move to put out something like that first. We knew what we had but I feel like the timing of putting that record first….the same way I feel about “Energy.” I just didn’t feel like it was the best introduction record to Keri Hilson.
