NEW MUSIC: Usher Ft. A$AP Rocky – ‘Hot Thing’

Usher releases “Hot Thing” from his forthcoming album featuring Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky. “Hot Thing” is one of of four bonus tracks from the deluxe edition of his upcoming seventh studio album, ‘Looking 4 Myself’. The album will be released on RCA Records, on June 8, 2012. Take a listen to The Neptunes produced “Hot Thing” track below.

I see why the singer decided to release this track to the web, because it offers nothing. Based on hearing the entire album, this is by far one of the worst songs from the album.  How do you feel about this track?

A week ahead of the official release, Usher  new album ‘Looking 4 Myself’ has leaked to its entirety. Because I would never post the entire album of my fave (i.e Rihanna), I declined to post Usher or any other artist as well. However I’m going to post the two most anticipated singles from the album. The two singles are  ‘Euphoria’ and ‘Twisted’, featuring Pharrell Williams.

With the release of Usher new album ‘Looking 4 Myself’ only a week out, we are getting  to hear  a unofficial  preview of the album.  ‘Looking 4 Myself’   is his upcoming seventh studio album, scheduled to be released on June 8, 2012. Take a listen to a 30 second snippet of each track below.

Music Preview: Usher Ft. Pharrell – ‘Twisted’

Usher is giving a hint of old school meets new school with the snippet of his new song “Twisted“. The track which  features Pharell and produced by ‘The Neptunes‘, is taken from Usher’s upcoming seventh studio album, ‘Looking 4 Myself’, due June 12th. The singer sat down for an exclusive “MTV First” interview yesterday and talk a little about ‘Twist’.

” ‘Twisted’ is more of a nostalgic record, so when you think about the classic R&B record, we managed a way to modernize it, even though that’s very relevant,” the singer said. (MTV)

The track definitely gives me a current version of something from the Marvin Gaye era and I love it. Based on what I’ve heard in this snippet I would say that I rather this track over the current euro-pop ‘Scream’ single. How do you feel about the snippet?

Usher Graces The Cover of “Billboard” Magazine

Usher graces the cover of the latest issue of “Billboard” magazine.  It’s promo season and this is the official start of the singer’s promo for his upcoming seventh studio album. If this cover says anything about what Usher is bringing us,  it might be a knockout.

Looking 4 Myself  is the upcoming seventh studio album by American artist Usher, scheduled to be released on June 12, 2012. The album will be released on RCA Records, following the disbandment of Jive Records in October 2011. The album was preceded by the lead single “Climax”, which peaked at number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Usher stated that the album will focus on a type of music which he depicted as “Revolutionary Pop”, which utilises elements of Electronic, R&B, Soul and Pop genres to create a new sound.

Usher has released the official album artwork and the track list for his upcoming seventh studio album,”Looking 4 Myself “. The album is scheduled to be released on June 12, 2012 and will be released on RCA Records. Some of the producers involved on the album, includes Diplo, Rico Love, Jim Jonsin, Salaam Remi and Max Martin. Other producers involved include Australian electronic music duo Empire of the Sun, Swedish House Mafia and David Guetta.
