New Music: Mya featuring Trina – Earthquake + Mess Up My Hair

Mya is coming back in a big way this tracks are sure to shake up the music scene and get everyone use to say Mya again. Aol Music caught up with the songstress to get the details of her Us version of the album.

Mya shakes things up with both ‘Earthquake’ and new song ‘Mess Up My Hair’ off the upcoming, U.S. version of her album, ‘K.I.S.S. (Keep It Sexy & Simple).’ ”I went back and forth with the decision whether or not to release this song ['Earthquake'] and it was definitely a struggle, but overall, I’ve learned to take any kind of negative experience or situation and turn it into something positive. So, this song is kind of a metaphor for that, you know? Embracing the paradox, switching it up and taking something potentially devastating and embracing the challenge and really just flipping the script,” Mya told AOL Music of the timing of the song’s release.

While still on the subject of Mya, I would like to inform you guys that the rumors of Mya signing with 50 Cents label G-Unit Records, are false.

“Seriously? Holdin’ me at gun point wouldn’t even be enough to get me to sign those papers. I’d rather scrape pigeon crap off of an NY sidewalk!” -Mya
